Attention all business owners! Did you know that having fully functioning and approved Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is now mandatory under UK government regulations? According to The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, all equipment must be maintained to prevent potential dangers. As a business owner, it is your legal responsibility to ensure that your maintenance and safety appliances are up to date.

What is PAT Testing
PAT testing involves checking electrical equipment for safety and suitability. The checks include visual inspections, insulation testing, and earthing continuity tests. It is recommended to apply a PASS/FAIL sticker to indicate the results. Any failed items must be removed immediately. Regular PAT testing helps reduce electrical accidents and ensures compliance with regulations.

We charge a £80.00 initial fee, which covers our costs such as travel, then a per item rate of:

£250.00     for 1 to 200   Appliances
£400.00     for 1 to 400   Appliances

£750.00     for 1 to 1000 Appliances
